Active real estate investor for 22 years and on the board of REIA for 19 years. Specialize in single family houses mostly in western Wayne County, cities like Inkster, Dearborn, Dearborn Heights, Westland, Wayne, Garden City etc. Started strictly in rentals, then to rent with option and in recent years converted to mostly land contract sales. Actively purchasing houses and my M.O. is to put 20% down on new mortgage. Married 17 years to Carol and two sons, Shawn and Stu. Prior to becoming a real estate investor employed by Ford for ten years in marketing/sales. Am enthusiastic sports fan for all four Detroit sports teams and Michigan State University. Recently visited a fellow real estate investor, Tom Ready in Florida. He took my wife and I to his favorite Florida restaurant owned by two former Michigan residents.
